Today, adoration and confessions will be held during periods 4, 6 & 7. During these periods, students may go to confession during class time unless a test or quiz is being administered. Additional confessions will be heard during lunches A and C. Mass will be celebrated during B Lunch in the student chapel. Please remember to swipe at the chapel entrance.
Students from St. James parish should have received an invitational flyer during their Advisory period yesterday. The flyer invites you to join Fr. Posey for a pizza lunch next Tuesday, November 10th. This lunch will take place during your regularly scheduled lunch period on Tuesday at the Trinidad Entrance Lobby. If you have any questions, please stop by Fr. Thompson's office.
If you are a junior or senior, and you want to help out with Superdance this year, please come pick up an interest application form outside the Activities\Christian Service offices. Please keep in mind, playing a winter or spring varsity sport and Superdance planning do not mix. Please plan your activities accordingly.
Applications are due back by November 16.

Attention all girls interested in playing basketball. Try-outs for Varsity, JV and Freshman will begin this Saturday at 9:30 AM in the Main Gym. Try-outs will continue on Monday and Tuesday. Please make sure that you have completed all forms for the athletic training office. For a complete tryout schedule, please see Mr. Edmondson.
JV and Freshmen Boys Basketball Tryouts will begin on this Saturday, November 7, from 12 noon to 2 PM in the main Gym. All candidates must have a current physical and Parental consent form on file with the Athletic Training office to participate.

DJO has established a chapter of the Science National Honor Society. To be a member, you must be a junior or senior, have a cumulative 3.0 GPA and a 3.5 GPA in your science classes, and be enrolled in an Honors or AP science class during each of your junior and senior years.If you are interested, see Mr. Glynn or pick up an application in room 23. Today is the LAST day to apply.
All young women at O'Connell are invited to attend Made for Greatness: A Young Women's Conference, which will be held at Bishop O'Connell High School on the morning of Saturday, Nov. 14th.
