Wrapping Up the Year with a Kairos Retreat

For most students at O’Connell, June 12 was their last day of school. But for a group of young women—members of the FIAT club—June 12 was the beginning of a special retreat weekend. The group of 11^th and 12^th grade students were joined by three young adults from Marymount University and four staff members from O’Connell—Sister Tracey Uphoff, Ms. Anne-Marie Funk, Ms. Kathryn Hogan and Ms. Elizabeth Rubando. They loaded two small buses and headed to Summit Lake Camp in Maryland to participate in the school’s first Kairos Retreat.
