Theology teacher Anne-Marie Funk accompanied a group of six O'Connell students to the recent Mount 2000 Eucharistic High School Retreat in Emmitsburg, Md.
The theme for this year's retreat was taken from a quote from Saint Catherine of Siena:
"If you become what you should be you will set the world on fire."
