Congratulations to Michael Katz who was drafted by the New York Mets in the ninth round of the 2014 MLB draft. Katz was picked up at the end of his junior year at William & Mary, where he was a three-year starter with a .346 career batting average and with 230 hits, 57 doubles, two triples, 29 home runs, 180 RBIs in 166 games. Katz tallied five All-American honors from various baseball organizations and was also named Colonial Athletic Association and ECAC Player of the Year.
